Miss Van, Vanessa Alice Bensimon also known as Vanessa Castex, born in 1973 in Toulouse, France, is considered one of the best known painters of the graffiti scene. In the early 90’s, at the age of 18, began painting in the streets of her hometown. Over the years her sensual characters (poupées as they are called) evolved on the streets and grew their own personal style full of colour, eroticism, voluptuousness and ambiguity.
